We asked Zoya some questions to shed some light on her role at Content Smith, her strengths, what she’s inspired by and her digital trends predictions for 2023.

Tell us about your role at Content Smith.

I'm a driven, enthusiastic and curious Social Media Manager at Content Smith who loves to execute organic and paid social media content. From data analytics to developing creative content ideas and exploring new ways for brands to use content to drive impact is my forte. Copywriting, developing content calendars, and social ad campaigns are also a part of my skill set.

Which aspect of working at Content Smith makes you the most excited?

The people! Job satisfaction is a priority for me and my team has kept me inspired, laughing and curious! Their unconditional support has helped me tremendously through stressful times.

What’s the most interesting job you’ve ever had?

I'm pretty sure the most interesting job I've had is at Content Smith. The majority say the agency life is toxic but the various roles we take on as a small team keep me stimulated and curious. I've had the opportunity to meet many interesting people in the past few months and stepped foot into various client events that have been nothing short of interesting and mind-opening!

What’s your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is my organisation skills. I believe in planning ahead for my future self and others.

What’s your quote to live by?

The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.

If you could meet anyone – dead or alive – who would it be and why?

I would like to meet my grandmother who passed away in the summer of 2017. It would be because I would like to share this part of my life with her and my experiences so far.

What is a key digital marketing trend you see for 2023?

Voice search for SEO is the future. With Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant and Cortana taking the lead, the newer generation uses those features to search online. It's important for brands to get on this bandwagon this year!
