The Brief
Envee is a Melbourne-based startup company, that specialises in 100% bio-based bean bag beans and aims to create highly functional bio-based products to lower environmental impacts and work towards a sustainable future. We developed a marketing strategy using paid ads and social media to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to their website and increase sales. One of the main goals, which had also shaped our marketing strategy, was focusing on sustainability and educating consumers on the benefits and importance of purchasing bio-based products to make a more sustainable choice and collaborating with brands with similar values.
Our Approach
When strategising for the brand, we had four objectives.
1. Brand establishment and social presence
Envee aimed to establish a strong brand identity and increase its visibility on social media platforms. Our team conducted a comprehensive analysis of the company's values, target audience, and competitors. We then developed a cohesive brand strategy, including a brand voice that resonated with the company's mission. Social media channels Instagram and Facebook were strategically chosen to reach envee's target audience. Regular posting schedules, engaging content, and community-building initiatives were implemented to foster a sense of connection with the audience.
2. Increasing brand awareness
To boost brand awareness, we ran successful campaigns on META and Google and envee partnered with other sustainable bean bag companies, creating a network of like-minded businesses. Cross-promotional activities and joint campaigns were executed to leverage each company's audience and amplify the industry's sustainability message.
3. Working towards a sustainable future
Envee's dedication to sustainability became a central theme in our marketing efforts. Envee collaborated with brands with similar values and we integrated green initiatives into the company's core messaging. This not only aligned with envee's values but also resonated with a growing audience concerned about the environmental impact of the products they choose.
4. Paid ads for website traffic and sales
Strategic paid advertising campaigns were implemented to drive targeted traffic to Envee's website and increase sales. A combination of social media ads, Google AdWords, and retargeting campaigns successfully reached potential customers and converted leads into sales.
To increase brand awareness, build a strong social presence as well as increase community engagement, we consistently published a total of 151 posts (including stills and videos) on Instagram and Facebook. Recognising the importance of producing new content to avoid audience fatigue, we planned and executed three content photoshoots in 2023.
