Content Smith was established by Stephanie Waters, a communications practitioner with over 12 years' experience in the corporate, government, community, fashion and lifestyle sectors.

Content Smith’s unique service helps small to medium sized businesses grow by providing outsourced marketing support capable of nurturing an engaged community and driving sales conversions.

Prior to founding her own consulting business Stephanie founded the Australian online retailer Ballettonet.co that offers an edit of limited edition women's shoes handcrafted by Italy's finest footwear families.

REBECCA FRENDO

Rebecca was raised on the sunny shores of coastal NSW and moved to Melbourne in 2018 to chase her marketing dreams. She is inspired by big ideas and constantly hustles to get things done (checking off a to-do list is one of her favourite feelings). When she is not writing, creating, or at university, she will be working hard at cheer practice or curled up with a good book.

A young creative at heart, Rebecca has experience working with various sectors including government, defence, marketing, fitness, fashion and retail sectors. Rebecca’s goals involve working with and enabling proactive individuals to realise shared visions, whether that be business growth, strong storytelling or taking over the world (baby steps towards the latter). Her superpower is a tie between super-diligence and the ability to eat a family block of chocolate in one go.

If asked to describe her ultimate happy place, Bec would tell you she’d be on the beach, surrounded by loved ones, and of course, eating chocolate.

Digital Marketing Strategist
(SEO, PPC, SEM)

We are looking for a part-time Digital Marketing Strategist (SEO, PPC, SEM) with a hustle mentality and positive energy. A switched-on digital specialist who is ready to help us achieve the best for our clients.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist (SEO, PPC, SEM), you'll be the main point of contact in the initial stages of a client coming onboard as an SEO, Social or AdWords Client. You will be leading the way in ensuring every new client is welcomed into the family with enthusiasm, passion and care.

In addition, you will be responsible for a small portfolio of clients, managing the communication of their SEO and pay-per-click campaigns (Google AdWords, Facebook Ads & LinkedIn Ads). Our Director and Coordinator will manage the client’s overall campaigns, allowing you to focus on diving deeper into Google Analytics and Facebook Advertising for each account to strategise how we can achieve even more ROI for the client.

Your work will focus on providing an exceptional on-boarding experience, welcoming new clients to the family and building positive client relationships with your own portfolio, keeping clients informed of the work being carried out and identifying where improvement in their strategies can be made.

We are looking for a part-time Digital Marketing Strategist (SEO, PPC, SEM) who can:

  • Work 2 days a week or 16 hours a week

  • Act as the first point of contact when on-boarding new clientele.

  • Conduct the initial discovery call with the new client.

  • Retrieve any collateral required for the campaign set up phase (client questionnaires, log in details, GA access etc).

  • Conduct keyword research in preparation for SEO strategy.

  • Manage the initial set up for Facebook, Linkedin, SEO and Google AdWords campaigns.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the portfolio of online marketing clients, building a positive relationship as the representative for the company.

  • Conduct strategy audits to identify further opportunities for your clients.

  • Prepare monthly reports and make recommendations for ongoing improvements with the rest of the team.

  • Analyse analytics to identify areas of opportunity and utilise conversion rate optimisation tactics (i.e. A/B, split-testing etc) to squeeze as much ROI as humanly possible out of each dollar spent.

  • Educate clients on our SEO and PPC (Google AdWords, Facebook Ads & LinkedIn Ads) strategy and tactics.

  • Think on their feet and act quickly.

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience with the ability to turn a negative into a positive.

  • Providing insight into our Google Analytics, and where opportunities can be improved.

Requirements

  • 2+ years agency experience in an Account Management role.

  • 1 years’ experience in a customer service role.

  • Well-rounded knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC (Google AdWords, Facebook) and Conversion Rate Optimisation.

  • Excellent understanding of Google Analytics.

  • Highly organised and process driven.

  • Exceptional customer service is key!

  • Confident in setting and managing client expectations.

  • Google Analytics and Google AdWords certified is a plus.
